What would I need for macro photography?
I took this picture with my Canon Eos 1000D with 18-55mm EFS. http://www.flickr.com/photos/kez2511/4295843116/ i havent done anything with this photo I realized growing up that goal would be nothing else I have to make a much better picture.
In the past, it was macro defined in the sensor / film size of the object must be of natural size or more, so that the expansion of 1:1 or more. This was particularly important at the time of the film when you can not realistic images of cultures. macro can now be done easily with any close focusing lens, 18-55mm should produce increases in the region of 1:3 or 1:4 is good enough for most purposes. You may want to get something called a big goal, a filter, such as device that screws on the front of your goal so you can get closer subjects. But now you must concentrate on perfecting their skills. Once the image macro competent should be considered a serious Macro Lens.
