Is it better to have a UV filter or a Polarizing Filter on a Digital Slr?
Polarizers cause loss of too light left on the goal of all time. They have their uses, but not all for the protection of the filter. If the ham fists like me, a UV filter is of great value as a way to keep away nasty fingerprints off the lens. In addition, the first use of lenses I am changing lenses, a UV filter will allow me to insert a lens in the bag without having to dig through the front cover.
