DSLR not integrated into the UV protection of their image sensors?
I was looking for a new 72mm UV filteqr my goal, but most stores be verified only stored Protective Filter ", which were as expensive as the UV / Haze filters. I read somewhere that the sensors Image DSLR do not need UV / fog like the movie because you have built in UV protection outside the box. I do not know if it's true or not, I would like to know before you go to buy one later in the week.
the camera sensors are not sensitive to UV light. UV filters are a hangover from the days of film when the film was fog in the presence of UV light.
