Nikon D60 – When do you use a hood?
My D60 came with a Lens Hood. I have no idea what it is for and when it is ideal to use it. What is a hood supposed to do?
Just leave the Lens Shade on all the time. It keeps stray light from causing lens flare.
The only time you would want to remove it, is when you are using the flash, on-board or external mounted on the Hot Shoe
