Why doesn `t my Panasonic DMC TZ5 9MP camera takes pictures that are 9 Mp size?
It `s set in` fine `and` 9M "but the files are the result that 3 or 4 MB.
Multiply the width by the height of an image in pixels – you should get about 9 million dollars, more or less. It is their 9 MP (megapixels). 3-4 MB (megabytes) has nothing to do with the number of pixels, is the storage space is to take your hard drive. I would say I 3-4 MB is a very common size for a JPEG image for the 9MP High Quality / low compression, it seems that the camera is Very Good. LEM.
