What happened to the giant brush pen painting from the beijing olympics?
When the scroll opened and there was a guy in black that drew that single cloud, I was amazed at how cool it looked.
I know that the students colored the mountain in, and then athletes got to step color into it, but what happened to it after that? Where is it now? What does the finished painting look like? Is it going to be sold or placed in a museum?
I have just managed to find the picture of the Chinese man, Calligrapher He Wenjun dipped this 3.8-meter and 54-kilogram ink brush before writing a giant Chinese character at Beihu square in Nanchong of southwest China’s Sichuan Province are to deliver his good wishes for Beijing Olympic Games. I do think they might want to use this giant brush again for Beijing Olympic Games closing ceremony for a farewell wishes. In the mean time, it must be keep locked in official place somewhere safe in Nanchong. If we follow up “Xinhua” closely, we might know where this brush would end up to.
