EF 100-400mm 4.5-5.6 IS USM vs. EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III?
Without doubt, it could replace my 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III with the EF 100-400mm 4.5-5.6 IS USM could I not? I have not lost more than the speed (not sure if this is judged by a stop or something of f / 4 af / 4,5), although I shall get the better of him. I lose the zoom range of 15mm to the extreme width, 100 mm, but winning at the other end. and I am sure that I agree with the loss 15mm for better quality. I guess the size, weight and unique advantage is that it is real. I ask myself just because he wants to ensure that there is no reason to keep my 75-300mm. I'd be happy to sell immediately and buy a grip or something.
Yes, the 100-400 is a beautiful goal. It is heavy – shooting a ball game, all be spent to you. You may want to get a monopod if you will use for a couple of hours or more each time.
