I am looking at ROLLEIFLEX 3.5F cameras on eBay with Tesslar lenses-are those as good as Planar or Xenotar?
I am looking at one for $550 that comes with case and filters but I am seeing others for less but without the extras. I also have seen some with Planar and Xenotar but are for thousands more which make me think those lenses are better for quality. I dont want to spend a fortune but I also want to make sure that the money I invest is in a decent product. What certain things should I look for when evaluating the different offerings?
The Tesslar lens can produce excellent images. The added cost has a lot to do with the faster Planar lens, f/2.8
