Which Nikon Lens should I get?
I’m asking for a new lens for my Nikon d60 for christmas and I’m stuck between a couple.
If you have one you like better than the ones I list, feel free to say so but only if it’s under $400. I need a cheaper lens, that still does it’s job.
50 mm f/1.8 D
35 mm f/1.8 DX

The Standard Lens for the Nikon D60 is the 3.5 to 5.6G VR or
the AF-S DX NIKKOR 18 to 55mm. The camera is best used with the AF-S lenses to
make use of the autofocus feature.The traditional AF-I AF or the non-AF-S cannot
use the autofocus feature but you can still enjoy perfect exposure. You can also make
use of the D AF NIKKOR or the non-type G but it doesn’t support the autofocus and
matrix metering II
